One shared plan for one person's care — medications, appointments, bills, who is doing what — that the whole family sees at once, instead of one daughter keeping it all in her head.

Tap Start a circle on the home page. You will be asked who the circle is for and nothing else. No card, no trial clock. You can add the rest whenever you like — the plan works with three things in it or three hundred.

Two ways. Open Plan → Medications and type the name on the bottle — it will offer the common strengths so you can tap instead of type. Or open Documents and photograph the medication list from the pharmacy or the hospital; the app reads it and shows you cards to approve one by one. Nothing joins the plan until a person says yes.

To get reminders for a medication, tap Set times on it and choose the clock times it is actually due. We never guess a time from “twice daily” — a made-up medication time shown to a family is not something software should do.

First put KoraCommand on your phone's home screen (next question). Then open it from there, go to Today, and tap Turn on for this phone under Medication reminders. Everyone in the circle who turns it on gets the nudge — the thing families fear is nobody doing it, not two people doing it.

You get one reminder at the dose time and one follow-up if nobody has marked it. Never a third. Nothing is ever called “missed” — we can't see your kitchen, so an unmarked dose is simply unrecorded.

iPhone: open koracommand.com in Safari, tap the Share button (the square with the arrow), then Add to Home Screen. Open it from the icon after that, not from Safari — reminders only work from the icon.

Android: open koracommand.com in Chrome, tap the three dots, then Install app or Add to Home screen.

It is not in the App Store yet. That is coming; the home-screen version is the same app.

Open Circle and tap Invite. Choose what they can do, then send them the code or the link. They join in about a minute.

For paid help there is a caregiver seat: one screen with today's medications, visits and tasks, a big “Given” button, and a box to tell you how it went. They never see your bills, documents or family notes — those don't reach their phone at all.

• Runs the circle — you. Everything, and the only one who can close it.
• Can update the plan — the sibling who handles appointments. Edits and approves.
• Can add and suggest — adds notes, tasks and documents; suggests medication or appointment changes for you to confirm.
• Can look, can't change — the relative far away.
• Marks care done — the aide. Today only. No bills, no documents, no family notes.

Your plan lives on our server, and a scrambled copy lives in a second place so a broken disk cannot take it with it. The copy is encrypted before it leaves; the second place only ever holds noise. There are no ads, and no pharmaceutical partnerships — nobody is paying us to show your family anything.

You can export everything any time, and closing the circle deletes it. The long version is on the Privacy page. KoraCommand is not a doctor and never gives medical advice — confirm doses with the pharmacy or the care team.

The person who runs the circle opens Circle → Close this circle. The care data is deleted. If you would rather we did it, email us and we will.
